Responsible for mine extraction plan design, blasting parameter optimization, and preparation of annual mining plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in mining engineering or a related discipline
- 8+ years of open-pit mining experience
- Holder of a certified mining engineer professional qualification
- Proficient with mine planning software such as Surpac / Datamine
- Experience with large-scale manganese ore mining operations preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare annual and quarterly mine extraction plans
- Lead blasting design and parameter optimization
- Work with the beneficiation plant on process improvements to raise recovery rates
- Advance work safety standardization programs
