Pellet Plant Construction Begins, Commissioning Expected in 2027
The company announces the start of construction on a 5-million-tonne-per-year pellet plant, expanding its downstream product line to serve the pellet feed market.
In May 2026, the company officially announced the launch of a new pellet plant construction project. The plant is designed for an annual capacity of 5 million tonnes of oxidized pellets, with a construction period of approximately 14 months and commissioning expected in the second half of 2027.
The new pellet plant will use the company’s own HO-65 series high-grade manganese ore concentrate as feedstock, offering steel mill customers an integrated product line from manganese ore concentrate to pellets and further stabilizing raw material quality.
